Wharariki Beach is a magical place in the Golden Bay area of New Zealand's South Island. I arrived to find I was the first person to leave a set of footprints since the tide went out. In the hours I spent exploring Wharariki Beach I saw only a handful of people from a distance. Watching the sun set was a truly magnificent, peaceful and joyful experience.
